Instructions
- All submission will be evaluated on the basis of originality, soundness, relevance, importance of contribution, quality of presentation and comparison to related work
- All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Submissions must meet the format of the templates and will hide authors’ details and references to enable blind review. Acknowledgements of funding or assistance should also be omitted at the submission stage. When referring to one’s work, use the third person rather than the first person.
- The contributions must be submitted in PDF format through EasyChair platform: corresponding author needs already having/creating an Easychair account
- Your contribution must be in English (expected a good standard) with a maximum extension of 8 pages (full paper) or 3 pages plus references (Short paper and project paper), also indicating the target track (IT Professionalism, Digital skills or Informatics and Digital Education): see Call for Submissions.
- Submission must follow the template, downloadable from the following link in .docx format:
- Full paper (full description of research and innovation contributions): Template_ICODSIP_LongPaper
- Short paper (summary of practitioners’ experience and similar contributions): Template_ICODSIP_ShortPaper
- Project presentations (summarized as specific short paper): Template_ICODSIP_ProjectPaper
- The presentation of accepted papers and projects will be planned for 15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions and comments.
- It is expected one of author of each accepted paper presents it in person at the conference in order to be published in the proceedings. So, at least, one author must register and present the paper.
- Special fees are available for second author also attending the conference as well as for presenting second and subsequent accepted papers by the same author once registered for the first paper.
Publication
Accepted papers will be published in the Zenodo community for Skill [Set] / ICODSIP for maximum dissemination and integrated into reporting lines for research funded by the European Commission via OpenAIRE. Papers will also get a CrossRef DOI for inclusion in usual indexes and repositories.
Accepted full papers addressing topics related to digital sustainability in any of the tracks will be invited to submit an extended version before the end of 2026 to the Special Issue on Comprehensive Digital Sustainability for the impact journal Sustainability (Science Citation Index Expanded SCIE, JIF 3.3 in 2024, GREEN & SUSTAINABLE SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY) with at least 30% of new contents and meeting the format of the journal.
